Flip up scope covers

So having just fit my latest purchase, a GPO Spectra 5x 3-15x56, I'm thinking I'd prefer some flip-up covers to the bikini cover.

Is the internal thread a standardised thing on scopes? I can't find any information on it and can't find any GPO ones which begs the question as to why they'd thread the inside if it weren't a standardised thread.

Is it threaded for a sunshade? I use the Vortex Defender Flip Ups on several of my scopes and have no issues with them, do the job fine

It makes sense that they'd be threaded for a sunshade but I see that Hawke do some lovely, tidy looking flip ups that thread in. Looks a very neat solution compared to the vortex fit (I have them in my basket ready for someone to tell me that screw in isn't possible)

The thread may likely be related to the objective lens locking ring if there are no screw in flip ups or sunshdes available. I have 4 Delta Scopes and they're the same, hence I went for the Vortex.

Was told by Leupold and Hawke that their threads have different pitches therefore not able mix n match so to speak ?
I just went for Vortex slip on types as they didn’t break the bank and fit on my Leupold job done .
