thought I'd recreate a dish I had on a trading expedition to a nearby foreign country.
I had driven across the civilised world " Cheshire" to the border to a strange old country.
I crossed the border " east lancs road"and proceeded through the checkpoint " stop or tha goes! ".
with the help of my translation app " Wiganease" the deal was conducted and we retired to a local 5* restaurant.
here is my effort at replicating one of 2 dishes I was recommended.

served on traditional cook wear,but I couldn't find a copy of the" dog& ferret" weekly for a table cloth 😆
 
Just made a pheasant curry for the first time in my new slow cooker. Just the breasts on hi for 4 hours. Was worried it might dry out but i ve just eaten it qnd it was amazing. Meat just fell apart so tender. Only foind this thread after i ate it so will put a picutre up next time!
 
Just a ph pic,opened some blue,smeared some dark rye with it and opened a stubby of Coopers for lunch. The scallops are for later.
