Supermarket rotisserie chicken, beer battered onion rings, homemade chips and a crusty roll with vintage Irish cheddar was the dinner in a hurry yesterday.
The chicken was literally just off the rotating spit and it took all my willpower to drive home and not open the bag and tear a piece off.
Squashed as much of everything I could fit into the bread and mangled it like a hungry lurcher.

Where do you find Roman snails? Do you find many or is this a one off?
I love wild garlic. I have slathering it on everything for the past 2 months, freezers are full of it.Just the thing for your L' Escargot KB, some of this year's Wild Garlic harvest
North Downs. I found two on my travels yesterday but I do not take them as they are less than common.
