Forum sometimes slow to respond

Is anyone else experiencing a hanging browser when using the forum? Mostly it is ok but the last couple of weeks or so I have noticed that when navigating between threads etc, sometimes it will action the command immediately and other times it will take longer, sometimes up to 15-20 seconds. Which is annoying.

It 100% is not my internet connection as a myriad of other sites work fine and I am not seeing the same issue.

I wondered if cookies and various browser history needed clearing out so I went and did that which was amusing as it claimed over 17,000 browses amongst 3000 websites ha ha. I do use t'internet a lot but it did make me laugh.

Anyway, I cleared everything since the dawn of man and still the forum is not functioning like how it used to.

I use Chrome on Windows 10 and all is up to date.

Anyone else seeing issues or is it just me?

Ironically yes, noticeably when I clicked on this one! But have had it on various random pages on this site over the last week or so

It's the number of people doing searches etc. over the weekend I think (plus there's other people on other servers which makes it worse). I'll try shortening the server 'threads' with a higher number of 'threads' to make up the difference. We'll see if that will make a difference.

Yes, more frequently than previous hanging on loading any thread clicked on from "new posts" view.

Not noticed but i have exceptional internet now ( under BT we had very poor phones let alone internet ) Now on BARN the last 12mnths ago full fibre all the way A to B

Mine also improves a bit when cache clearing.
