Our associations (whoever we give our money to) should offer assistance and support BUT only for the out of the norm circumstances. We should all ensure we are self sufficient for the everyday dealings with the Police.
They are neither 'Bully Boys' nor 'Walkovers' but folk doing the job they are paid for the way they see it should be done. We all have our own point of view and from personal experience know there will be many occasions when we see the work of the Police differently to the way they do.
However the law is pretty specific in most instances and if we or they are at variance then as far as I am concerned we need to tell each other quite clearly if that the other is wrong.
