we’ve got 3 boosters in the house already just to get WiFi around the house! Big thick stone walls don’t help - the barn is only about 40m away but I struggle to get WiFi in the downstairs loo never mind outside

Then the best solution is probably the ubiquit nanostation. It's a bit more involved and costly, but very reliable. This would give you a wired & wireless access point in the outhouse, allowing you to connect other things like more monitors, cameras etc

Cheers - I think I might be able to boost my booster and get WiFi out there as @VSS keeps suggesting but that looks like a good idea
