monarman many thanks have now sent them a email asking (begging ) for a course 
Have you spoken to BDS NW? they are pretty active in that area and would prob know of ant coming up.

Have you tried Jim at dgvm , based in Chippenham Cambs , I know they do butchery courses so maybe worth a shout , I guess you have looked at the basc website see what they offer and where ?

BASC only do DSC2 I think it is worth more money in the long run (my thoughts only)

I was quoted 60p per mile plus per entry and extra cost from Wales
But let us know when you have more info think we will get enough folk's to take part

BDS have emailed me to say the person involved is away for the next couple of days.
He may be able to put a course on ()

Great news folk's I have had a reply about running a course in August/September time yet to be confirmed.

Do not have a price yet for the course
I need to know if you are doing this course for two reason's
(1) A industry refresher course
(2) A add on for DSC1
(3) other
So i need names of those who want to attend and reason this is what information I was asked to get

I'd be in if the dates are right. I've a week in August I can't do and I do believe there's a date in August that I'm already booked on a BDS range day. I'd be doing it as a follow on from my dsc1. If we know dates, I can ask my other 2 from Essex if they'd want in. They're both dsc1
