I hope to sort out a suitable date in the next couple of days and will let you all know as soon as I can.
The response has been better than expected so far with a couple of very generous offers of prizes volunteered.

The messages of support and offers of help that I have received to date have simply been fantastic.
I have now had three offers of prizes or trophies and all have been totally unsolicited, they have simply come out of the blue. I just hope that we able to justify your confidence in us to run a fun event and at the same time raise a reasonable sum for H4H.
I am hoping to confirm the date for this get together this week-end and when I do it will be posted immediately. Now if there is someone out there who can arrange favourable weather for the day that we finally settle on that will put the top hat on it.

The date has not been finalised yet but we are currently thinking of Sunday 29th August which is a bank holiday week-end. Does anyone know of any events that this could clash with? The bank holiday week-end may suit some people but not others, some feed back would be welcome.

The alternative date could be the previous week-end which is the 22nd August.

I'm good for either w/e, but would suggest the 22nd is better. Some folk will have already made arrangements for the BH w/e. Some other folk may also get an ear bashing if the announce they are going shooting on the bank holiday w/e.....

I've already thought about having three different classes so as to be as inclusive as possible;
1. Rimfire possibly at 50 yards.
2. Centrefire (Deer legal England & Wales)
3. Centrefire (Muntjac & Chinese Water deer -.22 centrefire).
