This is correct,we carry out the tests to prove (to Europe) That we are Trichinella free.I was told by the vet when I took some porkers in that even though they test for it in outdoor reared pigs they don't ever find it as it's not in this country

Contact the FC. They will sell a carcass to you at dealer rates I'm sure if you're prepared to go and collect it?
trichinella is easy to defeat, just cook it well/ freeze it.
