Good enough for huntin'

Following a scope change, I figured it was high time I got the .223 dialled back in. I miss using this wee rifle. It's like a magic wand to handle, and with a few days to myself I finally have the time to get around to some of those odd jobs that seem to slide when things are busy.

I took a few shots at 50 (ish) yards to get on paper, and once I was happy I let four shots go at 110 metres (don't ask, it's just where I guessed 100 yards was, and couldn't be arsed moving a bale following checking with the rangefinder). Sure, some may say the group looks like the result of a bayonet charge, but my rifles are for stalking and a 1" group off a bale at that range is more than good enough for me.

Good enough for huntin' is good enough for me 😉

(Oh, and just to pre-empt the backstop police, there's an earthen bank in front of the drystone)
