Yet another auction from the Outer Hebrides Fisheries Trust. This is another chance to win some very low cost stalking and fishing of the highest quality. A few days back a member on here won a day at stags on South Uist for £212 and potentially this day on North Uist might sell for even less, and for some people might represent even better value:

Currently this is 2 rods for one day fishing (salmon and sea trout) plus one rifle to shoot a stag plus overnight accommodation for £100. The North Uist stalking tends to be pretty easy going so even if you feel you might not be fit enough to stalk the big hills this might give you a chance at a real, wild red stag in a pretty remote location that actually requires not too much physical effort.
The estate can produce big trophy heads, though they charge a trophy fee for everything 10 points and up, so if you wanted a trophy then this is your chance to get a real wild one rather than something in a back garden that's just walked out of a horse box, or you could just tell the stalker you don't want to pay trophy fees and not to offer you a shot on anything over 9 points. All the info is on the estate web site.
The Outer Hebrides Fisheries Trust are a charity who conserve fisheries and the general environment in the Outer Hebrides. This auction is to raise funds and the estates have donated the lots so all of the money raised goes to the Trust. They've had a few of these lots come up over the last while and you can't always be sure what will come up next until the estate donates the lot but for the sportsman looking a great Hebridean adventure then this has to be worth a punt.
As previously I've no connection with the estate or the Fisheries Trust, I just noticed that these auctions were not widely publicized and so the lots were selling well below market value so they offer a great deal for anyone looking a day out.
