I am David, proprietor of Grahams of Inverness, a local Tackle & Gun Store in Inverness. We are a small family owned and run business with our roots in the Highlands - Grahams have been supplying rifles, optics and ammunition to our customer base since 1857 and now 160 years on it is high time we started a presence on the Stalking Directory! We will soon have a banner advert linking to the grahamsonline.co.uk website and I hope to be able to post some special offers and of course any news (and or gossip!) we receive from within the trade.
For those who need to know - my stalking background is almost exclusively Red and Sika (I occasionally shoot the odd Roe but not often). My preference is for the open hill and my calibre of choice is the old reliable .270. I've been lucky enough to shoot some nice rifles in a variety of calibres with various optics and my history includes Tikka, Sako, Mauser topped with the usual suspects of Swarovski, Schmidt & Bender, Meopta and the like. In the last few years my rifles of choice have been Sauer with Zeiss Victory optics and I have been very happy with their accuracy and reliability (although I did manage to bend a barrel a couple of years ago - but that's another story!). Moderators I change all the time! I get to test most of them and have discovered many of the pros and cons - current choice is a Stalon W110 and have found it suits the .270 very well.
