Anyone use this on firearms ? Just got a general wipe down before putting away ? Made by wd40 company apparently.

On firearms - no, but I do use it on mountain bikes. Motorcycles and chainsaws…so I guess it could be used on firearms.

I prefer to use napier/legia spray on the forearms for a general wipe over.

Sorry to hijack, but in a similar vein- ACF-50, a very good anti-corrosive. Used to great effect on vehicles, anyone using it on rifles/shotguns?

Yes, used GT85 for years. Good stuff and cheaper than lubes supposedly made for firearms.

No - I use it on bikes but it leaves a residue which I think would be a pain on a gun…

but its bloody brillant for getting glow plugs out of cylinder heads

Use it on the wildfowling gun as salt marsh gets every where. Bores/chambers are spotless after 12 yrs of getting caked.

It doesn't rot wood. Well it might if you bathed it in it but I wouldn't suggest you start bathing your rifles in it until after I've bought my shares in the company.

Not used it on guns but it's great for getting a shine on the plastic trim on cars, Smells nice as well
