Gundog Training

I've got an eight month old Labrador that I'd like to use as a peg dog and for picking up. I need some help with the training and would appreciate any recommendations for a trainer. I live in North Wiltshire at the moment, but will be moving to North Dorset in a few months time, so a trainer based in or near either county would be good for continuity. Thanks.

Get ‘The Pet Gundog Puppy’ by Lez Graham.
The single best book I’ve ever read when it comes to training and is the reason my current lab is as good as he is!

Hey Donnachaidh, sorry for bringing back such an old post... I just wondered if you had any tips and wondered how this went? I'm hoping to bring home a 6-month-old lab and just trying to put together a bit of a plan!
