Gunsmith Canterbury area

Ok a mate who lives in the south of the country has just got his shotgun licence.
Now he is looking for a gunsmith in Canterbury area to fit him for a shotgun and advise of what will suit him better than just going in to a dealers and a browning being forced on to him.
Any recommendations would be great.

Clays or Game ? , There are plenty of good used shotguns for sale, What do you mean on Fitting, Try Gun you can alter or just a general fitting

He hasn't done shooting before.
He went to the local gun shop and they were trying to put a 4k berretta into him.
Id rather him go to a gunsmiths who can tell him if it needs shortening lengthening etc etc.
He will be doing clays mainly.

Chris Potters (CPC) in water-starved Tunbridge Wells has loads of bargain priced shotguns and if you get the right salesperson she will help your mate choose the right bit of kit.

I was there yesterday and they have a rummage bin with all items at £1 each. Purchased seven new Butler Creek scope covers for £7!

There is one in Dunkirk Kent I have never been there.

Check before going, not sure they are still at that location or in business, have some funny requirements on their website from your link and google shows them temporarily closed.

Thanks for the advise.
I just don't want someone selling him a gun then when he goes for lessons he gets told it's completely wrong fitting.
To long to short to high to low etc.
It's his first gun and he doesn't have a bottomless pit of money.
If he can buy something that fits well to start with he is off to a flying start.
