I know the burn rate is near as damn it cock on the same, I’m looking for a real time review.

I’m still hanging on to the dregs kicking and screaming of H4831 😢

what I’m basically trying to do is 2 bullets both 150gn (Barnes ttsx and sierra gamekings) and 1 powder for my 7x57.

I’ll be swapping the GK’s over to H4350 so I’m under the same umbrella so it speak going forward and I’ve got about 220 rounds of stock so I’m hoping N150 will be a good substitute

Is not 4350 a bit slow for 7x57? Lovely powder by the way. Used many a pound of it.
Hello Smellydog :) GRT projects N150 as being a good match for 130 grn fox classic hunters though, maybe even more so than the N140. Is this wayyy of reality then? Or is it down to the longer size/bearing surface of copper vs lead :-|

No idea buddy, I'd just load the buggers and shoot them.

In the real world there won’t be much difference. You will of course need to work up a load and the sweet spot will almost certainly be at a slightly different grain weight.

I used to use IMR 4350, switched to N140 in my 7x57 and it still goes bang, bullets still hit the target and deer fall over dead.

I suspect if someone filled up an empty tub of IMR 4350 with N140 or 150 you would struggle to tell the difference unless you had complex scientific equipment.

I bet it won't take a lot of work to put a smile in your face. Just to say I am using it with 120 and 140gr bullets as I don't have 150s right now but with performance achieved with 140 TGK I don't think I need 150s. Good luck and let us know how it goes 👍
It will work, I’m pig ignorant and think skinned enough to make it 😂😂

Plus I don’t care what it costs to make it work 😂😂
