Lot of confusion made by HikMicro. The Hq 35 started as a 2 K optical channel (lower than the He25 day and night vision) but was blessed with a better thermal 640 x 512 thermal. The package evidently was not so appealing and by the end of 2024 or on the first months of 2025 Hikmicro added the 4k optical channel and some other minor upgrades (850 and 940 nm interchangeable bulb, orange and green pallets for nv, direct and angle compensated distances). The official name now is HQ 35 l Pro but there is no a different logo on the body or other way to id the new from the old non pro one if not reading the specs. hoope it helps

But that does not mean, that there are no more original HQ35s in the stores any more.
Just before Black Friday I saw one in physical store.
A guy in the store didn't even know the difference between HQ35 and HQ35 4K.
So be aware and take a good look, before you buy one.
The non 4K version is the HH35L, the HQ35L is 4k.

Nope.
HH35L is 384x288 thermal version and there is no 4K version of it.
HQ35L is 640x512 thermal na 2K optical version.
HQ35L 4K is 640x512 thermal and 4K optical version.

You can tell the difference only because the HQ35L 4k has 5.5-22x written between the buttons on the top. If it doesn’t have this then it’s the older version without 4K.

As said by Slider, me too have seen some on sale that where the HQ 2k and the seller had no idea of what he had on shelf. Usually when the maker goes for a better product but doesn't whant changing the name he add a different color logo (leicas ultravid HD red not HD blue) or mark (Pro for the ultrasensitive Pulsars). China's makers evidently don't mind the problem. They only need selling and in this case e very good product IMHO.
Key differences between these models
The HQ35L 4K now has an uprated 20mk netD sensor , 4K optical channel and includes the HikMicro chest harness pack. ( The old model had the lower resolution optical and no chest pack )
PRO models, HQ50L Pro and HX60L Pro have the updated battery system with side powerbank and dock ( inc HikMicro chest harness pack also )

Does the pro models also have a ballistic feature? if do they are really complete
Not that I know of ? Currently only the Pulsar Oryx, Merger, Telos | NocPix Lumi, Quest and DNT Hound have ballistics in handheld models..
