Hand brass polishing…

If you like to have a the important bit clean, try to clean the neck of the case as soon as possible with 0000 wire wool. A few turns is good enough to get the worst of the carbon etc off.

If you want the whole case fully shiny-
I normally us an ultrasonic cleaner, then rinse the cases with water to neutralise the chemicals, then a final dip into very hot water with rinse aid to help with the drying of the cases. A blow of air from the compressor removes a lot of the water from the rinse aid coated cases.

I don’t know đŸ¤£ I’m very new to this.

So after firing brass has been in a solution of water, washing up liquid and citric acid and hand tumbled for a hour every 15 mins.

They came out like the pic but dried to a tarnished dull look, that’s when I hit one with some brasso (see my other post above)
Did you rinse in clean water after that solution? You should find that together with prompt drying will help stop tarnishing. Fine wire wool or a decent cutting paste will have them gleaming
