Hello from Alaska!

Greetings everyone,
It's nice to be here. I've been reading for awhile and wanted to join to ask some questions. I am a hunter in Alaska, in an area where many people consume fish and game as a staple of their diet. I enjoy hunting Sitka Blacktail Deer (not to be confused with the Sika deer in the UK) primarily, along with occasional Rocky Mountain Goat, grouse, ptarmigan, and a few other critters. I have made several visits to the UK in the past couple of decades and have enjoyed every visit. I may never hunt there, but I greatly enjoy being in the outdoors outside of the cities, spotting animals in their natural habitat, and walking/exploring. I've picked the name Cabar Feidh as an homage to the kinds of animals I enjoy seeing in Alaska and Scotland.

Hi, welcome, my daughter lives in Fairbanks, i visited your amazing state this past summer for three weeks, the three hottest weeks i had approaching 30C,
I didnt get to hunt but had an amazing day spinning for Rainbow, Artic Char and landlocked salmon. 17 in 4 hours with my Daughter, best time of my life.
She’s under 3ft of snow now.
