Hello from South Africa

Good morning / I am fortunate to live in both the UK (Hampshire) and in Cape Town.
7 months in the UK and 3 months in Cape Town.
Have always had Shotguns in the Uk and will this year start my stalking (Excited)
In South Africa we do a fair amount of shooting. Mostly plains game (not a shot gun in sight

This forum, unlike so many does seem to have a helpful community, which is great.

I did have a question about Trophy imports, ie: just picked up an Oryx Gazell and would love to bring it back (scull and horns) back to the UK. Finding it quite difficult to research information on what needs to be done and quite frankly expecting a bit of grief

I had some lovely meals in Camps Bay last Easter. Good luck with your trophy queries, I have similar ones. Tourists often bring market trinkets across in their luggage, zebra pelts etc. What laws does that come under?
