Doubt it but will get my mate who knows his way about this sort of stuff more than me to check things over , just hoping I’ve had a bad box of primers , I’ve loaded up five rounds with cci br4 to try
38.2gr of rl15 with cci magnum 450 primers , elf-x heads … scales have been checked and are ok….will try the cci br4 primers to see if that make a difference
sorry I dont know your load but may not be the same as what I experienced. my primers were crushed so hard against the bolt face they were perfectly flat and the firing pin had pierced the primers. Oily gas was blowing back in my face when shooting them. Firing pin had a rim forced onto in with the pressure that I had to gently file off
Wee update , fired six original load tonight , 5 out the six had pierced primers cci 450 magnums….fired five of the same loads with br4 primers and all looks as it should
