Truth be told, even a scored die (in any place other than neck or shoulder junction is most unlikely to impart a discernible or impactful marking of a case body. Trust me!
My 1st ever attempt was exactly that, it didn't work and it cost me a die, the screw driver scored the inside of the die, i still have it somewhere.

Just wondered. The case is still in the diebeen in there for over 20 years. I drilled the head out too much and gave up with it, i think it thats what caused the uncontrolled wack with the hammer.
It can stay put now as a reminder to lube case's "properly"Just wondered.
Nitric acid is a highly corrosive, strong oxidizing mineral acid used to dissolve metals like brass and copper. It acts as both a strong acid and an oxidizer, making it highly effective for metal etching, dissolving brass alloys, and oxidizing hydrogen gas to water during reactions.
You don’t need to tap the hole, steel bolt will cut its own threads in the brass
Love the thermal lance what a fun toy closely followed by a plasma cutter. Was thinking along the lines of a thermal lance
