Help with decoying

So only shotgun shooting I have really done is on the clays or rough shooting (me walking around standing still every now n then and just tooting what fly's over)
So decided to give decoying ago after seeing the likes of gorge digweed and Andy crow busting out 100-200 bird days
So I need some advice.
So I have some pigeon decoys none of the electronic stuff just some whole pigeons and the half ones and acamo net.

My perm is a 8 acre mostly scrubbed out orchard with plums cherry's apples tress dotted around it's surrounded by wheat fields that thabe been cut so all stubble. Poor flight parths and not many pigeons at all hence why hoping the decoying would bring more on

Any advice would be amazing and if you need any more info let me know
Thanks guys

You won't decoy them into an orchard so just wait until you find a flight line and shoot them from that.
What did you end up with when you asked about pigeon hides as we never see the final product from your questions!

its a bit to late for a long answer, but by the sounds of it your going to be ****ing in the wind trying to draw pigeon's off a stubble field onto your bit of land, id be trying to get on the stubble fields, go door knocking,

One might argue you don’t have a reason to shoot pigeons. But as said above, ask the neighbours if they need help if they’ve failed to deter them with other methods than shooting

Aaa the orched Han been scrubbed out so it more open fields with fruit trees dotted around, well I made a camo net from old military webbing tried that first time last night and was just to heavy, so baught some cheap back up temu nets, colours were crap and build quality poor so think I'm Gona go for the night hawk kit with the camo net and a bit of clear net at the top lol the temu camo nets can go to my 2 boys to mess around with

Plenty of reason to shoot them chap, the land is basically my little old lady's garden, pigeon eat the fruit from the trees and also make attempts on her own little crops
Again as said by Tim there considered a pest hence why there allowed to be shot all yer round

Plus well I very much like the taste of pigeon

The colour shape pattern weight makes NO difference to decoying/flighting pigeons. To have success you need to be in a place where the birds want to feed or on a flight line. Field craft is key, roost shooting is a perfect example we get in the wood early look on the ground where the poo is then work out (with the wind) places to take them on. (no camo required)

A lot of people will take foliage to hand and dress the hide so going back to my point colour shape pattern weight makes NO difference
Thin hide but in the right place where the birds wanted to feed. 1 in camo 1 not bag of 340.

Looks like IV got quite a bit more research to do lol
