There is a reason secondhand rifles hand around. I wouldn’t be paying over half original price. Don’t look at rrp, I get fed up with these being slashed 277 days of the year to comply with advertising standards rule of sale.
Never I have I ever paid rrp for anything. Bare that in mind. I understand these shops have to make a profit but the also need the sale over “John smith outfitter” advertising online a lot cheaper.
Left hand will always cause issues. With availability being small. I’m a lefty and shoot right handed. It’s second nature now, as is my father. It’s a choice only you can make.
Also get a written guarantee the rifle is new and hasn't been through others hands. Proof rounds are not to be confused with low shot count or load development conducted. It it’s been in a Firearms Certificate it’s been privately owned. Therefore to avoid ambiguity check with the RFD. Probably not to expect usual secondhand prices as used, is has been sold been sold once.
I’m general you won’t see this activity. But it’s good to be aware.
