Hestra Biathlon Trigger Gloves

Has anyone tried the Hestra Biathlon shooting gloves? Having tried several of the well known makes I haven't found the perfect blend of waterproof and warm while maintaining sensitivity of the trigger finger. Thanks for your feedback.

I will be following this one with interest.

Between my missus and I we have several pairs of Hestra gloves, they are a manufacturer that I rate very highly indeed. I was actually considering their biathlon gloves next.

Not the Biathlon gloves, but a big fan of Hestra here.

I chose their 'Ergo Grip Active' as it's the best all-round compromise which provides a very tacticle, all-leather, water and wind proof glove.

I'm sure their Biathlon glove is fit for purpose, which is Biathlon competition, not stalking.

I'm pretty sure the linings would rapidly degrade if you holed the outer, which is not leather.

The most important thing is getting the correct fit, which can only be achieved by trying on that particular make, in person.

I guess you could order several sizes and send back those that don't fit?

Trigger feel and dexterity is not compromised at all, although they are not meant for -5°c conditions.

What are these like for size? I.e if you're a 9 are they 9, or snug, or loose? Are the fingers long or short?

Well, I went from a 10 to a 9 recently and usually wear a M/L set of gloves.

Fingers run on the longer side IMO, think there is an online sizing guide that you can print out and compare.

There is a Hestra sizing video by a ski/boarder guy on Youtube which is good. I got Miss Cottis a pair of Hestra gloves for Xmas sent over from Switzerland and that video helped and rang true.

Thanks, the video helped a lot, particularly as I was interested in the Guide glove.
