High or Low Optilock Rings For Clearance On a Sako 75 With A 34mm Tube Scope ?

Hi,
Will I be needing high or low 34mm Optilock rings for bolt clearance on a sporter barrelled Sako 75, fitting a S&B Polar 2.5-10 x 50mm objective scope with 34mm tube ? I'm thinking low, as Optilocks always seem high to me

Also depends on ejection angle and size of the windage turret, as to weather the cases will clip on ejection and drop back in the mag weld. Can’t recall the ejection angle

Extra-low will work fine. I had a 50mm Zeiss with a 30mm tube on such a rifle with those extra-low optilocks. And your 34mm tube will come even higher.

I have Recknagel mounts and bases with a SB PMII 50 mm used on a Sako 75. I will dig the scope out and take a picture so you can tell the clearances.

There is 7mm clearance at the objective lens, resting the mount bases flat on the table. 34mm tube and outside of objective is 57mm, hope this helps.

Bottom of ring to the inner flat surface of dovetail is 14.5mm, not quite sure what you meant by the corner.

Not sure if Recknagel rings and Sako bases are interchangeable. The bases and rings on mine are Recknagel. Also these rings don't have the plastic inserts.
