Evening Stalking World.

I was one of the lucky first purchasers of a set of these.

Todate I have been really dissappointed.

First night out the, one of the rubber lense caps parted company. In my view its really poor design, but I will accept that was down to me.
Next the IR illuminator, is set to high, with no way of adjusting this. It kinda works, but is frustrating.
Next I have two anoying white spots on the picture in thermal mode. I have tried the pixel correction procedure but to no avail. they have been there again since day one.
Finally the rubber eye piece popped off so this fell to the ground. Its now held in place with insulating tape.

Anybody elese having problems?

Its a shame as they are a great piece of kit, but!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took the lens caps off mine straight away as new they wasn't up to much .

I've also got like 5 white spots on mine since new , hasn't bothered me enough to send it back though

apart from that it's a great bit of kit 👌

I have contacted hik re the illuminator position and power. They are looking into it..I sent them footage of thier ir and a third party one. In regards do you other issues I've not suffered with any of them. Rubber eye cups can be a pain I've just lost one off my th50 v2. The rubber lens covers across the hik range of spotters are crap in general. I have to say the performance abd the functions of the habrok are very impressive. My falcon FQ50 is good and in regards to clarity sharpness and over all image quality the habroks are very close. I found have the two channels whilst stalking is the future. The lrf is spot on and around 4hrs the battery life is acceptable

Got a helion 2 pro wasn't anywhere as good and straight out of the box needed lots of tweaking to get a half decent picture
I've had the habrok hq35 alongside a helion 2 Pro, xg35 and hik falcon. Not sure what model habrok you had but all of us out that night put habrok just behind the falcon then the helion and finally the xg. All agreed that the extra channel and form factor put the habroks in front overall.

The Helion Pro was priced at £3399.99 for a 640x480 sensor, 50mm F1.0 lens, excellent crisp OLED display...dedicated thermal monocular. Now superseded by the Telos at a lower price point.

The Habrok is £2799.99 for a dual display 640x480 sensor, 35mm F1.0 lens, LRF, day channel and IR illuminator so you get a lot more features for your money...

Habrok is a jack of all trades, offering great value that covers a lot of bases for people..... Helion Pro is a super sharp dedicated thermal....no longer manufactured..

Thats because the thermal image on the Helion Pro is superior..
Really yes so say all of us who were there 👍👍🤣🤣 i remember going out with my friend he had said pulsar it was misty the pulsar was poor no use at all, just as well as I had the e3max v2. I think pulsar was over double the price. However I'll bow to you're superior knowledge and expurence.

So your stating a Helion Pro is no use at all in poor weather. Thousands would disagree. Yes please do bow down...

I finally got to have a look through the Habrok at my local RFD yesterday… fully expecting to part with my money as it seems to tick a lot of boxes at a great price point. The thermal mode seemed as good a quality as I had hoped - no arguments there. The daytime mode was what disappointed me. As I panned the rendering of the image was extremely ‘glitchy’ and not at all smooth.

RFD took a look through and agreed.. even saying it made him feel a bit queasy. We tried updating to latest firmware but still had the same problem. Is this something others have experienced or is it possibly just a faulty unit?
