Hik Habrok

You can't compare something that aren't the same though. I wasn't comparing. I saw they had a multi spectrum bino at the show. Looked at them and they hadn't got a day optical channel so no comparison and if the mergers are the money they are I wonder how much these pulsar duos are going to be.
For me the habroks with day/night/thermal/ir and lrf for £2520 for the hq version is the best deal on the market at the minute for someone who wants everything in a unit that weighs no more than a set of 8x42 binos. That duo from pulsar is like a brick in weight.
I'm prepared to pay for the best.

I use a Merger XL50 because it's the best out there on the market, if it wasn't available , I'd be using a Merger XP50, Telos XP50 or Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 Pro.

We all have different standards and budgets...

At a guess I'd say the Merger Duo will be over £5K with a nice 1440px resolution night sensor.

Yes I agree some will pick the best because they can, personally if I have something that can ID quarry then at that point I'm on the sticks so for me to have ultra high quality on anything other than my scope is a waste. Most thermals these days will almost certainly pick up heat at 500yd and ID at 100/150. The same goes with night vision, you can't shoot using any handheld so as long as I can identify.
This, I think will do 98% of us. The 2% are the rich and the folk who spot wildlife!
The habroks for me do all the above in one unit, something pulsar can't compete with and my z6i is then what I rely on. Everyone is different and as you say budgets are also different. Cheers.

Well I am f____G mine off and the Thunder I just aquired. Hiks whole attitude sucks.
Infiray Gemini and the new Thermals are amazing.
Mine are now on order.

Just picked up a set of Infiray Gemini and for me they are spot on, happy with the build and functionality in optical, thermal and NV but I will say the the fusion channel is absolutely 💯 % garbage!
But that aside am I happy with them 🤔 absolutely.

Fusion is very difficult to align at all ranges due to optical parallax on the individual channels..

I purchased a Hik Gryphon GQ50L just over 2 years ago. I contacted Hik directly regarding a problem setting the date, it was within the warranty period, just. I wanted it fixed before the warranty ran out. They arranged collection foc. Replaced the mother board under warranty and returned it. One of the battery cover lugs broke, by now out of warranty, again I contacted the service dept. direct. I had a replacement through the post foc.
Can't fault their service.
