Has anyone got some insight into what’s being launched? Looking at getting a thermal front add on and don’t want to pull the plug if HIK are bringing one out in this launch.
Thanks

There is also a possible new version of Habrook visible from teaser on Instagram.
Hopefully new Habrook 4K with proper thermal channel?

Any comment Blackwood outdoors? :)

But also the price will probably be closer to 4000€, than 1499€ as is current Habrok 4K price here.
Understand that. But I tried it and sent it back. Just did not cover what I required.
But for deer stalking. Superb. Very happy with it.
So I believe/hope that thr new unit will cover all I need and if I have to pay for it I will pay for it.
If you look at buying a spotter and a decent pair of binos. There is not huge differences. I hope once we see the price.

I was lucky to have a chance to test Habrok 4K for two months in spring, when roe bucks season is in full time here.
It is really great for stalking.
Easy to scan area with thermal and than use colour image for trophy evaluation.
Another advantage is possibility to record high resolution videos and pictures with the same device instead of carrying another photo camera.

But most of my time I hunt boars and foxes during night. For that reason I am also waiting version with 4K and better thermal.

Cheers

:thumb: As a tool for the last light "golden hour", I'm finding them superb. Glass during the day and 4k's at sunset 🤗

That is what we are all wanting to know.
Will the new 4K be better or not as good HH35l? The only thing stopping me getting the 4K was the thermal as I have the thunder and the thermal is great on that.
So I found the HQ35 excellent as a thermal and terrible optically in Bino mode. Although you could confidently say “yes that’s a deer” there wasn’t enough resolution to asses the quality of the animal even at short ranges in daylight and over 100m there was doubt as to it being a roe doe or roe buck. The 4K Habrok made up for the optical performance and while not being as good as glass in broad daylight they are decent for stalking hours. In fact better at light gathering by some margin than any glass. The thermal though simply has too much mag for most users. At 4.2x mag it’s like scanning through a kitchen roll tube. So epic tunnel vision and a very narrow FOV. The thermal sensor was greatly aided by having the extra mag, but the pair I used drove me mad while trying to use them as a thermal spotter.

If the maybe upcoming new Hik Binos? Have 2x thermal mag on a 640 sensor and a 5.5x mag optical 4K channel then I think they might be near perfect for allot of stalkers.

Having written all that they will probably release something completely different now…

Been using the Habrok 4K's on loan for the past few days now - completely agree with your comment of "have 2x thermal mag on a 640 sensor and a 5.5x mag optical 4K channel". The current 4.2x on the thermal channel is just too much.

Would it be out of the realms of possibility for them to add some sort of image stabilization into the optical channel? 👀 Using it at 11x is ok, but handheld with 22x mag is just too damn jittery, especially with it's relatively low refresh rate of 50hz.
