Afternoon Everyone

Is the extra 300m detection, slightly larger base mag at 2.4x with the 25mm lens really worth it over the 19mm with it's larger FOV base mag 1.9x and 150£ saving you get with getting the 19.

Going to get one next month, looked through both at Malmos up m6 and couldn't really see that much difference between them.

I have the 19mm and it is an excellent bit of kit. Can spot hares/pheasants several fields away at 800m+ quite easily. In woodland the field of view is good and the image quality is spot on.
I can quite easily spot deer in crops way beyond the distance I need to and the FOV is large enough to use at closer ranges. Personally don't think I would gain anything with the 25mm as the higher magnification would reduce field of view too much for the land I shoot.

Hi Chris, nice one very good, that's a bloody long way that is, the fov is what's drawing me to the 19mm,

That's really good unbeatable for the price performance ratio, it was a better viewing area with the slightly less mag over the 25mm from the little test I had when I was at Malmos

How long do you get out of the batteries without the extra features being on?

it certainly is from the limited time I had it in my hands both the ergonomics, build quality, image and the shutter less tech they now have in them.

I mean the only other I would touch would be the 35mm 640 sensor microlynx If I could upgrade in couple years time, that was unreal how they managed to get all that tech into such a small compact unit when you compare them to the old generation units
