Good morning folks,

I’m just wondering if anyone has ever had any issues with the Alpex not turning in to night mode, when I switched it on the screen was completely dark.

I done all the usual checks and diagnostics with no joy.

Factory reset it and put a full charge in it and worked for about 30 minutes the following night but the same issue occurred.

Just looking to see if it’s user error before I send it for repair.

Are you using an IR with it?
And have you tried it in automatic mode?

You have opened the lens cap....??

My first thought would be check it’s in auto mode.

Then I’d try changing the mode manually to see if that works.

If one or both of the above don’t work then contact Elite & get it returned under warranty.

I tried it without IR wasn’t working then with IR it was a good bit better. I tried auto and manual. Thanks though.

Tried both with no joy, yeah I’m gonna phone them up tomorrow and get it returned, spoke with a few others that have the sight but they’ve never heard or had that issue before

My mates thermal was fubar until I told him to take the lens cap off.
