HIKMICRO HABROK 4K BINOCULARS

I had a chance to test Habrok 4K for almost 2 months.
If you have any specific question or dilema, just ask.

Cheers

I've been trialling a pair for the last couple of weeks.

Pro's:

- Optical channel fairly clear, even at max mag
- Same as above for night vision channel
- The heat detection range on the thermal channel is quite good
- The ability to scan with thermal channel, detect a heat source then immediately switch to optical channel to identify it is great
- Built in LRF is massive plus
- Optical channel far superior to glass going into last light/complete darkness

Cons:

- The image at medium and max mag on the optical channel is too shaky when handheld, due to screen refresh rate. You really need to rest them on your sticks/tripod to get a steady view. Hik really need to add in Image Stabilization to combat this
- The quality of the thermal channel is really poor compared to my Condor CQ35. This was demonstrated especially on a night with fine drizzle, the Habroks struggled whereas the Condor didn't
- The base magnification on the thermal channel is too high IMO
- The optical picture quality will never beat good glass

My honest opinion is that they seem to do a lot of things in a fairly average way (optical image/thermal/NV/LRF), but having them do all of those things in one package is a really neat trick.

Am I going to buy a pair? No, not until Hik add in a better thermal channel and image stabilisation for the optical channel. Those are deal breakers for me.

Thanks for this

Just got a pair of the Hadbrok 2.0 25l, sorted most of the complaints out from the earlier model, not as good as glass in the day time, that said my vortex bino's haven't seen the light of day since I bought my first Hadbroks 2 years ago.
