HIKMICRO Lynx 2.0 LH19 honest opinions

Hello everyone I'm currently in the market for an entry level thermal.
I'm leaning more towards the HIKMICRO Lynx 2.0 LH19 and wanted to know peoples honest opinions on how good it is for stalking?
Mainly on Sika and Roe around Dorset. I won't be spotting at long distances 200-300m really.

What are peoples thoughts on this model?

I have this spotter and for my first foray into thermal and importantly my budget It ticked all the boxes, especially with being able to focus the image unlike the models beneath it.

I can easily spot rabbits out to 400-500yrds in the right conditions and can tell a fox from a badger at 200yrds, probably more due to recognizing its movement in some cases so you will easily be able to spot deer with it.

if you dont need a LRF then I'd say go for it.

Used thermal is with keeping your eye on.

Theres a lovely Hik in the sales for under 1k at the moment

I have the 25mm , it’s my second thermal my first was the Guied which was great but the lynx 25mm is just amazing, I wouldn’t go stalking without it . If you could stretch your budget have a look at the 25mm and make sure it’s the 2.0 version . Highly recommended 👍🏻

I had the 15mm for around three years and, at the time and for the money, it was excellent. It let me know if something was there and I did the rest with binos or night vision. 19mm will be a step up. You would likely be happy.

Honestly though, things have moved on and now I’d be stretching that budget a bit and getting the Infiray Finder FH35 V2 being sold by Ian @Blackwood Outdoors for little extra (in the grand scheme of things!). I suspect it’ll give you a far better image and you get the lrf as well.

I have this unit, and it ticks all my boxes. I use it for spotting roe out to around 600 yards. You can't tell sex at that range, but you can definitely tell roe from fox or hare. Does exactly what I need it to 👍

What’s the difference between the 2.0 version?

I had a Leica Calonox and swapped it out in favour of the the Hik Lynx 2.0 LH19 - its smaller, lighter & does the job I need it to and is a great price. I had the opportunity to look through & compare all the offerings from Hik, Pulsar etc in the same place at the shooting show and thought this model was fantastic quality for the money, the more premium models didn't offer enough of an advantage to warrant the expense, in my opinion.
I love mine & think it is a great product.....

If your interested in the Leica, its for sale at a very reasonable price (ono) on Cluny Country website ;)

Anyone have any opinions on how the Hikmicro LH19 compares with the Pixfra Mile2 M219? On paper they seem almost identical, but the Pixfra is cheaper (well £850 vs £782 at the moment).
