HI folks.
Can anyone tell me what the maximm load in the hornaday book is for there 75 gr vmax using varget powder. I have found about four different maximum laods stated now and starting to worry as I am new to loading. Have tried various loads from 38gr up to 41 and found 40.5 to be most accurate producing just over .5 inch groups at 100yds. Cases and primers show no excessive signs of pressure, however on am still worried that I may be exceeding max load. I would buy the hornady manual but £30.00 for the one load is out of my price range as I only want it for fox shooting.
Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Sorry that would of been the obvious? the calibre is .243

If you're talking 243 you are right in the range for that powder and bullet. Try this

http://data.hodgdon.com/cartridge_load.asp

if you're looking for data. Remember that the POWDER manufacturer is the best source of data, not the bullet maker.~Muir
