mmm Shooting shed, what's that? mine turns up today so looking forward to it. I know the US charge around a 3rd of what we do on our reloading kit! so much cheaper

It's a small shaped extension to the powder dispenser tube, it reduces the diameter of the opening which reduces overthrows with certain powders.

One of the best things about the Hornady is the ability to adjust the point where the final slow trickle cuts in, you press and hold the "mode" button and it retards the timing in 0.2gr steps. For most extruded stick I usually set it at 0.2, for really fluid powders like Ramshot (which are ball powders) I set it to either 0.4 or 0.6

I slowed down the rate of dispensing as it was throwing over a lot, which helped, but that thing looks good!

The speed setting doesn't alter the powder dispensing speed, it just adjusts the speed of the final slow trickle flow. Pressing and holding the "mode" button adjusts the slow trickle cut in point, making it cut in sooner by 0.2gr increments.

Another very naughty trick (if you still get too many overthrows with ball powder) is to raise the front of the unit by 1-2mm, stick a few sheets of paper under the front feet to alter the angle of the dispensing tube very slightly

Just remembered, there's also a way to set the trickle speed so it remembers it,

ADJUSTING TRICKLE SPEED
To adjust trickle speed:
1) Turn unit on and let it stabilize.
2) Press and hold CAL button for 6 seconds. The screen should display “SET.”
3) Press the SPEED button to increase the trickle speed.
4) Normal factory setting is between 0.5 and 0.8.
5) Press the UNITS button to decrease the trickle speed.
6) After reaching the new trickle speed, press and hold BACK/CANCEL to store
trickle speed and return to normal operation.

NOTE: Do not decrease the inner value lower than 0.0, or increase it more than 25.5.
NOTE: The new trickle speed should be permanently stored even if the Auto Charge is turned off.

Or to do it on-the-fly while dispensing,

ADJUSTING TRICKLE START TIME
Scale must be zeroed out with no target displayed. Additionally, if the scale is shut
off or BACK/CANCEL is used, this number will need to be reset.
To increase the trickle time by adjusting the point when the unit goes from quick
dispense to trickle:
1) Turn unit on and let it stabilize.
2) Hold MODE button for 2 seconds.
3) The screen will display “0.2” to indicate the trickle will begin trickling
approximately 0.2 grains before the target weight.
4) Repeat Step 2 until desired start time is reached.
