Good Morning. Does anybody have Reloading data for Hornady CX 165g in 308 and Vit N140. no data in the 11th edition Hornady reloading manual. i can find CMX in 165g but not with that powder. been on the vitavuori web site they have data for N140 165g but only in GMX i would imagine ok to use these. Any body have any helpful info it would be appreciated. Thanks Paul.

No N140 in the latest Hornady offering:

You could safely use the viht data for the ECX or the gmx, both similar bullets to your cx. I must say though, I’m not loving those speeds, could be too much bullet for the .308?
The hornady data looks much less anaemic.

For me historically max loads for Varget and RL15 haven’t been drastically out from N140 max’s.

From the above hornady data, I would use 44gr as max. Come back 10% off and work safely up.

Rarely has the vhit data has ever proved reliable, hornady and Sierra have reflected real world testing / conditions / velocities more accurately.
