Any Boar experts on here ?

roughly what size would you estimate this Boar to be ? Understanding its probably not an easy one to answer.

We are looking at taking a few smaller ones later this year early next year, not quite sure on numbers though.

They are always much heavier than you think. The trouble with the picture is you have no idea of scale so it’s difficult to assess its weight.

Be lucky to be 70 kgs at the evidence in the pic....guesstimate of course.

Thanks chaps, i agree its difficult without anything to compare it with, we have been waiting for signs of piglets, we have a few smaller from probably early this year but nothing small. Here is another image of what i think is a very pregnant sow from October.

Doesn’t not look like a heavy pig. 50kg ish is a nice size for an eating pig.
