I ask as reading the Qld news I saw that some parts of Qld have had OVER a metre of rain in the last week.

We’ve had nothing like that up here in Assynt, NW Highlands of Scotland. In the past week we’ve had some frost with temperatures dropping to -5’C, it’s raining at the moment but winds of around 45mph are expected tomorrow with snow flurries.

We're due some heavy snow here in Angus apparently. It's been rain constantly for about a fortnight, then -4 for the last couple of days. A thaw set in this afternoon, which may well be the harbinger of the forecast snow. Hope not, I hate the bloody stuff

The weather over Xmas has been great. Cold but dry, so far. Some snow expected tonight but hopefully not too much. Sat outside yesterday morning for my morning coffee watching the sun rise on a lovely frosty morning after an early morning foxing.
