The pup might,......with lots of 'LEAVE IT!!'......the others would be garrotted

Had a roe doe and follower come out of a wood in front of the pup this morning, run 100 yards, stop, look back and run on again...........the pup stopped on command...Phew!!!

Waiting to move off on a pheasant drive with my two Cockers, a Roe buck ran up to within ten yards of us and stopped dead for a good thirty seconds. I had my camera ready, just in case, and was about to snap a pic of the buck, when I looked at my dogs.





They never moved.
