How to keep puppy warm in kennel

Hi all, looking for some tips, my boss won’t let my keep my new Lurcher pup in the house and I’m not allowed to use a heat lamp in the kennel because it will burn too much electricity, the pups only 9weeks old so I’ve kennelled her with an older spaniel to try and keep her warm and I’m struggling to find battery powered heaters, anyone got any ideas on the best way to try and keep her as warm as possible?
Cheers

I'd be considering a new boss, quite honestly 🤔
Aye I still am 😂, not in house I was kind of understanding but no heat lamp is rough, gonna ask if I can just give the estate like £20 a week for lecky, chucked my lab in aswell
tonight so hopefully my other dogs keep her warm enough the now but have a coat arriving on Amazon tomorrow

If she’s in with another dog and they are happy, she’s have all the heat she needs, as long as it’s fairly draft free.
I wouldn’t put a coat on a 9 week old pup, could get caught up in something.
She’s in a really good dog box and my lab and spaniel are Kennelled together anyway so hopefully she fits right in

Well, the very best of luck regardless. I'm absolutely certainly pup will be just fine. Your boss, however, needs a lesson in employee relationship. Best one you can give him is to take your skills elsewhere 👍

I built a ply bed box and had a hinged base, underneath it I left an 8” deep box where I placed an electric tube heater with a thermostat so it would only kick in when it was low temp, it worked well and was cheap to buy.

That's way too much. At a uk average price of 24.5/kwh a small 100w heater will cost less than £5/week even running 24/7.

my kennel dogs have a double duvet folded in half and they get in between when its really cold <soft southerner>or when its not freezing they just sit or sleep on top of it. they are always warm when i check them at night and in the mornings .

See my post higher up also. They also sleep inside the barn in a 4by4 hut on rubber cow matting
