Commiserations Stalker.Awful times. I had to hold off responding to this as my 14 year-old lab is very close to that stage too and frankly I am dreading it. The loss of a doggy pal is something that just goes with the territory of dog ownership but is always utterly devastating for all who rightly held them dear. Best to reflect on the many times you shared together and the montage of great memories you have as a result.
