How to remove rust in the bore?

What’s it grouping like? If shooting fine then as per Smelly’s advice.
If poor grouping and cleaning doesn’t sort it then..

An inch off the dangerous end will typically cost you about 25/30 fps and the quarry will still fall over just fine - if you do your bit…

hi jb paste works wonders its the brown paste but as foxyboy said clean your barrel then test grouping if its grouping to your satisfaction i wouldnt worry about i cleaned a guys 22.250 once who said it was full of rust and his groups had opened up to 2 to 3 inch i asked him how many rounds he,d fired through the barrel he said about 3 to four thousand

FYI - AUTOSOL for aluminium is not as aggressive as the one for chrome.

Sounds like you have it taken care of now but next time, 30% vinegar will remove rust nicely. Recently done an ATV fuel tank and it works quite well. Just make certain to neutralize it after.
