Humane Animal Dispatch (HDA) course

I am keen to hear from anyone who has attended the BDS humane dispatch course within the last 12 months.
I am trying to put something together for my local constabulary.
I am interested to know about the content of the course, is there a practical element, what firearms are recommended?
Perhaps if anyone can help please would they send me a PM or give me a ring.

BDS COURSE completed my one last year but all the Met and Kent police no longer use any one but there own firearms unit.
But well worth doing this course as was interesting.
