Hunting knives for kids

Does anyone know where I can buy a fixed blade hunting knife specifically designed for kids? I’m struggling to find anything suitable for my boy as his hands are very small. I don’t really want to go down the custom route as it tends to be very expensive for tools

What about something like the Fjallkniven WM1?

It was designed for women, but that means it has a a smaller handle that might be good for your boy too,

If you can find one the Brusletto Troll is a cracking little knife.

how old is the boy? Has he the hands of a bricky or pianist?

Something like the ESEE Cody Rowen 2.5 might be useful. I have one that I use mostly for breasting out pigeon, gutting bunnies and unzipping the odd munty. Certainly my 9yr old nephew has used it to help me do pigeons. If you are wanting a small handled blade to do bigger deer, then it might not be so suitable but for smaller stuff, it is excellent ergonically and takes a good edge which holds up well due to the geometry.

In your position I'd be looking at handle length & shape (for safe handling) and weight.

Great fun trying to decide and plenty of choice!

Perhaps the Buck Bucklite Max II Knife - Small ?

Joseph Rodgers Bunny Knife.
A knife that will last a lifetime for him.
