Some of these luvies do seem to like these odd skulls though. I was at a huge craft fair in Kent a couple of years back and was amazed to see a young, rather hippy type lady selling Roe skulls with the antlers dressed in gold leaf.
The price was out of this world, hundreds of pounds................................after looking them over she thought for a minute she had a potential buyer. That's until I told her what I did for a living.
Much the same as a person in London selling stuffed mice dressed in clothes for thousands of pounds.......................where do they get these people from who want to part with such amounts of money!!

If you do it again choose colours which may look better inside. City folk love that sort of quirky stuff. Not something I'd do on my own collection but it could be a good way to make a few bob if you get the popular colour schemes
I think I've seen these, but the ones I saw were in the £100s not £1,000s. I have to say that in that case I enjoyed the combination of absurdity and painstaking attention to detail, and also what I took to be an ironic but not condescending or hostile attitude to the odd bubble in which game shooting takes place. But then I do tend to entertain myself by reading too much into things.
Not in the case of the dipped deer skulls, though. They are simply repugnant.
