That buck rat that has mercilessly chewed its way through just about any and everything thing of value in your home/garage?
I`m bloody sure as schitt that 99% would enjoy having fixed the bastard when they catch up with it.
Now that is true

This is my problem with the fox hunting set - if it is not about the killing...but they catch whilst on a "trail" hunt. I individually could do more to affect the fox population in an area by myself without the pomp and circumstance.If you hate the killing part you wouldnt do it. Why cant people be honest with themselves instead of being PC. I enjoy the pursuit of game/vermin more than the actual shot but I would never say I don't enjoy it as I do ..but that's me just being honest.
If you dont enjoy your sport it's time to pack in and go playing golf or train spotting.![]()
All hunting and fishing are blood sports, same as any other that involves killing or injuring animals…..I think I agree with you, though one point I'd like to raise;
Bloodsports are not all-encompassing of hunting and fishing - Hunting and fishing are not necessarily a bloodsport although some forms of hunting and fishing are such as coursing, fox hunting etc. I'm wary of lumping in deer stalking and rabbit hunting with badger baiting and cockfighting
It (“killing”) may not figure in your list of why you like shooting but it must however be elevated to the number one position of consequences of you chosen pastime.Why I like shooting

I’m all for the argument that suggests one may be a million miles from that of revelling in the blood& gore that is so often a part of taking a life, but this cannot be wholly separated from what it is to hunt and specifically how this desire is informed by some very basic traits of the human condition.

Not those busy killing rats with bobbery packThe hunting lot in 2002 were quite prepared to hang out any shooters to dry. Shame on the lot of them.
A few need hanging …..out to dry .The hunting lot in 2002 were quite prepared to hang out any shooters to dry. Shame on the lot of them.
Few white lies and tally ho,With hunting with dogs of any sort ,the hunt for any true dogman is the reason they are there .A catch being the culmination of fit and experienced dogs and very much a biproduct .Many good terriermen I’ve known have released quarry after a dig ,it’s the work shown by the little warriors that matter .
Mounted packs have always had a conflict between saying they are there to control whilst harbouring and actively promoting fox in their country .One action contradicts the other .
Have been told by said group that lamping foxes is cruel and leaves wounded animals to die - this was said with a straight face knowing that I shot (and recovered) more foxes in a year than they "accidently" killed. Do the right thing and admit you like the kill.The hunting lot in 2002 on the march, were quite prepared to hang out any shooters out to dry. Shame on the lot of them. I was on the march and to support them, never again.
Love some driven foxes in the wilds of Wales.can only say having marched to protest against the ban, there are other forms of hunting with dogs or hounds apart from mounted packs.
Fully support in principal hunting with dogs and hounds but must say the majority of people hunting on horse back I have encountered from two separate packs have been arrogant a holes of the highest order, whom I would not urinate on if on fire, result of attitude from some landowners simply not welcome!
Not hunting, nor hounds just some of the people involved and attitude, but yes I support hunting![]()
