The Holts auction was yesterday and today. Generally it looks as if bidding has been pretty strong especially on small bores.
Going back to the OP pair of Rook Rifles they made £9,000, so whoever the lucky new owner is he will be writing a cheque for best part of £12,000. Still they are top quality in pretty much unused condition. Rooking Horse poo is probably more abundant

Meanwhile the single shot 7x57R - subject to quite a bit of discussion made £1,600, so a bit over £2k to walk away with.
I did look at the little 22 Hornet H&H hammer gun. Seriously considered putting in a cheeky bid, but it went for £2,000.
