I'm off....

Well, almost.... the rig is prepped and the alarm clock is set for 0400 departure from Somerset to the Highlands to join sikamalc, JAYB, tika.308 and the rest of the SD lads.

This means I won't be around to move threads and delete things so be good everyone, JAYB will still be watching you!

Slow start but caught up.

Been up here for the past two weeks. First week 2 clients= 3 Sika stags and 1 Red Stag (8 pointer)

Second week got colder and with 4 clients took 3 Sika stags 6 Red stags including a nice royal.
Just awaiting the arrival of the SD group, and we will make a start on Monday evening. Sighting in tomorrow and briefing.

Now have broadband in one of the cottages so can keep in touch
:D

They are all here, the rifles all seem to be working correctly and killing paper, so now we wait for the deer on the grass reports, hope its not a long wait

260 miles still to Inverness!

Terry I think you'll find that was your snoring echoing off Heartbreak Ridge!!

Yes, the quad tows the trailer quite nicely!

Good luck Alex, will have passed you yesterday on my way back down from a week in Scotland took me 9 hours but had a great time well worth a 1000 mile round trip.

and I bet you were getting paid for it also.

Everyone out this evening. Most saw or heard deer but nothing grassed. Alex (csl) had two reds roaring in a wooded area right next to him but the cover was to high and did not get a shot. Very warm again, and no frost!!

Hopefully tomorrow we will get a beast or two on the floor.
