In the Market for a New Scope

Cant say I've ever had any complaints using a FFP scope during low light situations.

Both my Schmidt and Bender scopes were FFP and I could see plenty fine through them.

Same again with the Meopta now.

I've also had SFP scopes (currently have another Meopta SFP on another rifle) and I certainty haven't noticed a difference. I would like to think its more down to the glass.

Thats a good thing to hear!
I've just heard that the reticle can get too small and become fuzzy on low mag & low light

Depends on the ret and the mag range. Lower mag range will result in the ret not going too small in many cases. But I would try and get one with good illumination if its FFP, you can use that to see.
Check out this guys page, will give you a good idea of how these scopes look. This particular vid compares Meopta Optika6 and viper PST gen2 but have a look at his other vids, loads of info there.
