Wanted: Info on stalking in D&G

Anyone done any lone stalking for Roe in D&G?

My sister lives up there and off to see her in September - and may do a day out and get something for her.

I know a few do guided trips up there, but interested in just getting a bit of peace and quiet out and about in the countryside and maybe getting something to give to my sister too.

I've my own ground I manage down here and done a fair bit guided/alone in different places too, so comfortable stalking on my own.

Ive seen some Facebook ads for a guy called Jack Byers (?) who offers this in D&G. Anyone been out on his land?

Lots of Roe in St John's Town of Dalry area, and odd Reds up on the tops, round & abouts this area.

I live in D&G, plenty of deer about.
To be able to go out unaccompanied on ground you will not be familiar with is a bit of an ask.

Again, think it's all guided?

They advertise for guided as their main offering, but as they have previously run an unguided syndicate they will be a good contact to start your search with. If I were you I would send them a message to arrange a call and see if they can help. Good luck with it all
